Hodkin and Jones designed, manufactured and supplied decorative plaster mouldings to the Aspinal of London flagship store on lower Regent Street, St James in London. Aspinal of London is a British designer, manufacturer and retailer of luxury leather good and accessories.
The idea behind the flagship store, based on the south side of Piccadilly Circus, was to combine the cosiness of an English country house with the contemporary elegance of a London townhouse. To achieve this Aspinal of London had to select some of Britain's finest craftsmen, one of which were master plasterers - Hodkin and Jones. The 350 square meter store is set on two levels and is one of the top 40 most instagrammable stores in the world.
To give this store the luxurious look it was after Hodkin and Jones provided one its ceiling rose or centre piece designs. Circular in design these decorative mouldings were used to enhance the chandeliers hanging from the store's ceiling. Hodkin and Jones have also supplied Aspinal of London with ornate ceiling mouldings and panel designs.
